Chicharon Bulaklak or Pork Intestine Cracklings
A famous Filipino food and rampant in the streets of Cebu. The widest selection of Chicharon Bulaklak used to be along the side streets of Redemptorist Church, Cebu City. Nowadays, after the eviction of the "Pungko-pungko" along Redemptorist area they are now scattered everywhere.
Several "Pungko-pungko" spotted are:
- near CDU Recelamation Area
- Terminal Area in Lapu-lapu
- hi-way Mandaue City
- JY Square
They are just few of the places that I can mention but definitely there are more scattered all over the place of Cebu.
Each Chicharon Bulaklak costs differently but it normally ranges between 12pesos to 25pesos.
Warning: Avoid excessive eating of Chicharon Bulaklak as it is known to be high in Uric Acid causing gout problems.
