Our Growing Concerns

Every Cebuano notices and hears the cries of our brothers and sisters in Metro Manila.  This devastation is a painful and sad experience.  We can only hope that lesser people are hurt or even suffer worst than hurt (I cannot actually articulate death).

As I lay to bed early this morning I can still see in the news the continuous sufferings of our people.  I am glad more people extended help providing portalets, trucks, relief goods and services.

As faithful Cebuanos the greatest we can offer are our prayers for the safety of the majority of the people who are currently homeless.  Sto. Nino never fails us, may the child Jesus extends his cape and shelters the people of the entire nation.

Let's look into whatever we have to donate they need blankets, clothing, food, water and other stuffs to survive.

While it is apparent that we all care, let's continue caring.  We don't need floods, typhoons and famine to show we care.  Let's start looking into the root cause of all these and accept the fact that it really happened yet maybe prevented.  Knowing and understanding the reasons why these things happened is the only way we will start caring and notice how we have destroyed our Mother Earth.
